It is beautiful to be filled with the sense of wonder. If you start thinking from where the thoughts come and to where they go, the sense of wonder will be lost. Remaining with the wonder without falling into a thought process is meditation.
아름답다, 경이로움의 느낌으로 가득하다면. 그대, 생각이 어디서 오는지 어디로 가는지 생각하기 시작한다면, 그 경이의 감각은 사라질 것이다. 남아 있게나, 경이감과 함께, 생각으로 빠지지 말게나, 그게 명상이란다.
☞ Remaining 남아 있음, Remaining with the wonder without falling into a thought process 주어, is 동사.
This sense of wonder is a totally different dimension. It is to live with a wondering heart, to see with a wondering eye.
이 경이감은 전적으로 다른 차원이란다. 이는 사는 거야, 놀라워하는 가슴으로, 그리고 보는 거야, 놀라워하는 눈으로.
☞ dimension 차원
The flower is there, the trees are there, the butterflies are there. The clouds move. The whole world is full of wonder. Only we have lost the sense of wonder.
저 꽃이 있지 않은가, 저 나무들 하며, 저 나비들이 있지 않은가! 저 구름들은 흐르고. 세상 모두가 경이로 가득 찼구나. 그런데 오직 우리만이 경이감을 잃어버렸구나.
☞ the flower에서 the는 감성적 분위기를 나타내는 표현
A thousand questions will arise, but remain with the sense of wonder. Do not allow the questions to disturb you. Even if they are there, remain indifferent to them. Be attentive to the inner sense of wonder only.
수천 가지 생각이 올라올 거야. 하지만 그 경이감으로 남아 있게나. 허락하지 말게, 생각들이 그대를 방해하는 것을. 비록 그것들이 있더라도 무심히 남아 있게나. 관심을 두게, 오직 내면의 경이감에만.
Just look with the eyes absolutely silent, with no questions roaming inside. You remain with wonder and it becomes your friend. You breathe in wonder. You breathe out wonder. It becomes your whole being. That is how you come to know not an answer but the mystery everywhere.
지극히 고요한 눈으로 보라, 아무런 생각도 안에서 떠돌지 않게 하고. 그대가 경이와 함께 머물면 경이는 그대의 친구가 된다. 그대는 경이를 마신다. 그리고 경이를 내쉰다. 그것은 그대의 존재 전체가 된다. 이것이 그대가 답이 아니라 모든 곳에서 신비를 발견하는 법이다.
